In this step we are trying to solve top layer's corners, so that after you are done you have the entire top layer solved, meaning the nine cubies of the top layer are all of the same color.
This step should also be intuitive once you have mastered every type of configuration you may encounter.
Goal
Our goal is to solve the top layer's corners of your Rubik's cube so that when you are done you have the entire top layer solved like the following:
Obviously the color of the top layer does not matter. It is white in my case, and it may be some other color in your case. The point is all nine cubies at the top should be the same color.
Let's do it!
The following cover all possible configurations needed to solve one top corner. Simply use the appropriate algorithm to solve all four top corners.
L D L' | F' D' F | L D2 L' D' L D L' |
In some cases you may have to perform the same move more than once, or you may need to perform more than one of the above moves more than once. Eventually you will complete this task just knowing how to solve these configurations.
