[SOLVED] Chrome Web Browser Is Hijacked By Advertisements! Fix it in SECONDS!

Amazon When you find your beloved Chrome web browser hijacked by advertisements such as Yahoo ads, you wonder how to fix it. By hijacking I mean the following:

1. When you open the Chrome browser, it opens some ad URL rather than the home URL you set in the settings.
2. When you click anywhere on the webpage, some ad opens up in a new tab or in the original tab.

It's annoying, isn't it? You go to settings and click on the button that says Factory Default, but it doesn't fix the problem. What should you do?

Solution

The solution is surprisingly simple. Update your Chrome browser to the latest version, and the issue should go away. It is likely that someone figured out a way to hack into the web browser, and the latest version usually has the problem fixed.
